Simple but revolutionary: Echo is the outcome of many years of zealous studies aimed at the realization of an easy-to-use machine, boasting reduced maintenance & operational costs together with high level performance.

Versatility: thanks to microprocessors and to a sophisticated software, it is possible to make use of up to 39 different custom-made sorting programs.

Microprocessor Control: SEA color sorters are controlled by microprocessors allowing the use of specific functions such as the auto-diagnosis, the auto-setting, and the storage of the programs according to the specific production requirements. Very powerful microprocessors together with the SEA-software and the special sensors guarantee a perfect functioning ensuring the best results.

Feeding: Specific feeding chutes or channels are used for different products in order to grant their best transport to the sorter’s detection unit. The loading hopper can be provided with minimum, medium and maximum level sensors controlling the vibrators’ speed thus warranting the  continuous stream of product into the machine.

Some advantages: In the double pass version the sorting efficiency is practically doubled. The Echo compact dimensions make its installation easy in any environment and in existing installations. The maintenance is really simple – there are no optical parts to keep clean, lamps to replace, sophisticated software to run etc. – as well as the access for cleaning internal parts of the machine.
Another advantage connected with the use of “Echo” is the extreme effectiveness and speed with which the pneumatic device is activated, enabling operations at very high speeds.

The sorter by resonance series "Echo" has found stable application in the nuts processing (hazelnuts, almonds, walnuts, apricot kernels, pistachios, etc.) revolutionizing the traditional process diagrams. The new Echo max offers an improved efficiency and productive ability, still more reduced operating costs, and the widest possibility to personalize its use. The principle of the inspection device is based on the distinct resonance produced by each element. The frequency developed by shelled fruits is different from those emitted by shells, unshelled or partially shelled fruits, stones, glass, and metals so that to let the sorter's software process the signals frequency, and activate the pneumatic ejectors for their separation.

The product to sort is fed into the loading hopper from which it’s poured onto the vibrating distribution plate. Thanks to the vibration the product advances until it reaches the open end. From there it falls downwards guided by the sloping channel. As it leaves the delivery channel, the product individually collides with the resonance detector. The sensors deliver a signal which is processed by the detection and analysis unit, then finally compared with specific sample frequencies. Depending on the response, the pneumatic device activates to physically separate the different types of product (foreign bodies or shells from shelled nuts). The products recognised by the detection and analysis unit as conform, fall into the apposite hopper following the natural falling path; otherwise, the elements recognised by the detection unit as shell fragments or as other foreign bodies, are deviated by a blast of compressed air, issued by a precise nozzle, into the rejects collecting hopper.
