The grain industry, and particularly the soft wheat one, saw new issues in the cleaning sector in recent years.  Major reasons for this change are surely the new growing techniques, the climate changes and the more stringent health standards about finished products. In this sector, Pixel grants the perfect separation from disease wheat (smutty, light stunted and contaminated by mycotoxins), from foreign seeds (vetch, oats, soya beans, corn, etc.) and from foreign bodies (stones, glass and metal fragments).  The new 2009 series, introduced in Milan in occasion of the Ipack-Ima exhibition, has been optimized to meet that requirement, which seems to override the technological possibilities of the traditional system for mechanical cleaning.
