Received the order for n.2 the Optical Color Sorter model “SELEKTA 5” for a new Mill of durum wheat in Algeria

The Italian company OCRIM S.p.A. (plant engineering company leader in the world) has commissioned n.2 Optical Color Sorters model “SELEKTA 5” to SEA S.r.l.
The Sorters will be installed in a new Mill of durum wheat that OCRIM is realizing in Algeria. The sorting machines will be placed directly in the first cleaning to replace the cylinder separator unit.
The optical sorting concerns the whole stream, and besides the separation of the foreign seeds, all the defective grains producing black or red spots in the semolina (mottled grains, shriveled grains, etc.) are removed.
The use of the SEA sorter will optimize cleaning, with an overall increase in yield (recover of the broken grains).
